The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) has published a draft air permit modification for the U.S. Steel Gary Works steel mill, adding more industrial pollution each year to a community that has already endured a legacy of it.

Gary residents and regional neighbors deserve full public review, enforceable limits, and answers on health and cumulative pollution, not a rubber stamp on complex and polluting steel upgrades!
