Community canvass

From June to August 2024, JTNWI’s dedicated team of 10 trained canvassers engaged in 471 conversations with residents at the door in Hammond, East Chicago, and Whiting about the Midwest Alliance for Clean Hydrogen Hub (MachH2) and the BP carbon dioxide pipeline, inviting residents to our Community Conversation. 77% people had no knowledge of the projects prior to our canvass, underscoring the success and necessity of our door-knocking efforts.
