Project Crossroads Paused Indefinitely

BP announces in a statement that it is pausing its CO2 pipeline, “Project Crossroads,” and blue hydrogen production facility in Whiting, Indiana, indefinitely. In a statement, BP cited economic uncertainty, the slow development of the hydrogen market, and BP's renewed focus on oil and gas, among other reasons. We know that community pushback, including by JTNWI, also played a key role in this decision.
